MIT Enterprise Forum of the Northwest
MIT Enterprise Forum of the Northwest. is widely recognized as a unique, innovative worldwide organization supporting high tech entrepreneurial growth. As one of 24 worldwide chapters affiliated with the Alumni Association of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the Northwest Enterprise Forum promotes the establishment and growth of innovative technology companies through creative programs that educate and entertain entrepreneurs. Its events are informative and inspiring and provide a high quality arena in which industry executives can learn and expand their network. MITEF is the second largest chapter after Cambridge, MA and draws from hundreds of volunteers in industry, venture capital firms, corporate sponsors and support service firms to develop and plan events. The Prosperity Partnership is creating a bold new action strategy to ensure the Puget Sound regional economy flourishes in the future. The Puget Sound Regional Council (PSRC) initiated this four-county initiative in July 2004. Technology Alliance
The TA has established formal relationships with regional technology-based organizations in Washington state. Called TA Associates, these partners have joined the TA in their efforts to build support for research, education, and entrepreneurship as the key drivers of a thriving Washington economy.
The eight Associates are Greater Wenatchee Area Technology Alliance, INTEC (formerly Inland Northwest Technology Education Center), RATEC (formerly the Regional Advanced Technology Education Consortium), the Seattle Chapter of the Society for Information Management, Spokane Intercollegiate Research and Technology Institute, the Tacoma Technology Consortium (an affiliate of the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber), the Three Rivers Technology Alliance, and the West Sound Technology Professionals Association. www.technology-alliance.com
