SIGs share a focus on a particular topic, and meet to promote industry awareness or increase knowledge. SIGs are open to all members and the community we serve. Please contact the respective Chairs below for information on meeting dates. Database SIG Database professionals, who are interested in the continued development and expansion of their skills sets. We are looking for people with any type of database experience, be it with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, Access or other. Our goal is to provide a learning environment for members of the SIG, and a base of expertise, in various subject areas, that members of the SIG, and the WSTA in general, can tap into. Legal, Community & Government Affairs (LCGA) Issues impacting the technology industry, its professionals and WSTA community-based initiatives.Education - Workforce - Privacy - Telecommunications - Economic Development - Taxation - Internet - E-Commerce - Community Assistance Programmes Interact, strategise and educate government, policy, education and community leaders for creation and improvement upon prodctive environments for technology industry and professionals. Inclusive are grant opportunities and/or educational programmes - and facilitating education/training, skilled workforce, state-of-the art infrastructure and business collaboration. We also network with other professional associations and entities (WSA, Technology Alliance, Kitsap Economic Development Alliance) towards achieving mutual interests. Chair: Doña L. Keating
Marketing SIG Goals: To provide a professional development forum for technology marketing professionals based in Kitsap County (and surrounding counties).
