Early History

WSTPAIn early 2000, some forward thinking individuals organized West Sound Technology Professionals Association (WSTPA) (www.wstpa.org). The association’s broad, yet simple original mission statement “Addressing issues that interest technology professionals” reflected its member-driven agenda and goals.

A New Vision and Name

new logoIn 2008, the name of the association was changed to West Sound Technology Association (WSTA) to better reflect the significant impact of technology on the business, social and governmental communities, and better connect the technology professionals who remain the core of this association with these audiences. The mission statement was revised to "Driving a Technology Future for the West Sound" to reflect this expanded focus.
